Samantabhadra is the god of truth in Buddhism and represents the practice and meditation of all Buddhas. Here he is pictured with a consort on his lap. This thangka is made from silk and brocade. The painting portion is 20 x 15 inches around and the brocade portion is 30 x 33 inches around. This thanka was made in Nepal.
