- Tibetan Sterling Gemstone Conch Shell Horn, Sankha
|
A Conch Shell or Sankha is an offering vessel; a symbol of the Hindu God, Vishnu. The humming sound proclaims the glory of the saints. It is especially given as a symbol to the gods as the sound vibrated through the shell penetrates the gates of heaven and reverberates in the ears of the gods. This conch shell is a perfect thing to place in front of your Buddha statue or just on a shelf. This conch shell horn is made from sterling silver, natural conch shell, turquoise, and coral. The conch shell is 10 x 4 x 4 inches, and it was handmade in Nepal.
