|
A Conch Shell or Sankha is an offering vessel; a symbol of the Hindu God, Vishnu. The humming sound proclaims the glory of the saints. It is especially given as a symbol to the gods as the sound vibrated through the shell penetrates the gates of heaven and reverberates in the ears of the gods. This conch shell is a perfect thing to place in front of your Buddha statue or just on a shelf. The conch shel is 9 x 6 x 3 inches around and was handmade in Nepal.
