This shirt was made in China from cotton. Mao shirts got their name because they were worn during Chairman Mao's time- the cultural revolution. But the difference in this shirt and those worn in Mao's time is the color. During the Cultural Revolution red was a very daring color and you wouldn't have seen anyone wearing it. Most people wore army green, navy blue, and gray. This Mao shirt is a size 8.
